**Disclaimer for the use of ShapeCentral cutting software and associated patterns**
The ShapeCentral cutting software is designed to assist users in creating patterns and cutting various materials. While the software has been developed with the utmost care, ShapeCentral cannot guarantee that the generated patterns will fully meet the specific needs or requirements of the user. ShapeCentral takes no responsibility for any incompatibility or undesired results that may occur as a result of using the software.
The software provides access to an online library of digitized patterns, including patterns for automotive body parts, car windows, motorcycles, electronic screens, and logos. These patterns are not produced or owned by ShapeCentral. The content provided is sourced from the manufacturer, and ShapeCentral acts purely as a distributor.
ShapeCentral acts exclusively as a provider of the cutting software and is not responsible for development, software updates, technical support, or security issues. It is the user’s responsibility to keep their hardware up to date and report technical issues to the relevant supplier.
ShapeCentral offers users the ability to open, modify, or adapt existing patterns. Customized patterns can be saved within the ShapeCentral software. If the user chooses to discontinue the use of ShapeCentral, they cannot claim ownership of the customized patterns. Upon termination of the subscription, the right to use and own these patterns will expire.
Users also have the option to create and import their own patterns and designs into ShapeCentral. As long as the subscription is active, the user may continue using these custom patterns. However, if the subscription expires and the user decides not to renew, all rights to these custom patterns are forfeited, and the user relinquishes ownership. ShapeCentral will never share or use these patterns for its own purposes.
The user is at all times responsible for the decision to cut a pattern from a specific film. ShapeCentral and its supplier are not responsible for any damage to hardware or film resulting from the operation of the cutting plotter. It is the user’s responsibility to test whether all settings are correct and ensure that the selected pattern, the film used, and the plotter settings meet expectations.
ShapeCentral is not responsible for the accuracy, fit, or authenticity of the provided digital patterns. The intellectual property rights of the patterns remain with the supplier at all times, and neither ShapeCentral nor the user can claim ownership of these patterns.
The digital patterns remain the property of the manufacturer and may only be used within the ShapeCentral software. Upon termination of the software use or cancellation of the subscription, the right to use the digital patterns automatically expires.
ShapeCentral offers its services through an annual subscription, which is automatically renewed for a period of one year unless the user provides written notice of cancellation at least one month before the renewal date.
By using the ShapeCentral software, the user acknowledges these terms and accepts that ShapeCentral is not responsible for any damage, costs, or losses arising from the use of the software or any software issues beyond ShapeCentral’s control.
